Proceeded overseas to France, 21 June 1917; joined 2nd Bn, NZ Rifle Brigade, in the field, 11 July 1917, and posted to D Company. Reported missing, 12 October 1917. Court of Enquiry, 27 April 1918, concluded: 'Missing for over 6 months. No further evidence forthcoming. Killed in Action 12 October 1917.'MBV |
