Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty throughout the operations round Messines on the 7th and 8th June 1917. Rifleman Waller acted as a stretcher-bearer. He worked continuously day and night under very heavy fire, tending and carrying back wounded. He was conspicuous for his courage and cheerfulness and devotion to duty.'
