|Unit embarked from Wellington on board HMNZT 38 Tahiti on
'Between Corner Fort and Le Brideaux east of Fleurbaix. He displayed great skill and courage in reassembling his platoon which was scattered during attack on enemy's support line on 21.2.17, and when some men were advancing too far and entering our own barrage Sgt Brady ran forward, rallied the men and bought them back. He has always been a keen fighter and excellent leader. (Strength of raid 16 officers 516 ordinary ranks).'
