Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in the field on 26th, 27th and 28th days of March 1918 north east of Mailly Maillet. Sgt Bradley was in charge of a Lewis gun section. During the attack on the Chalk pit he pushed forward and
provided covering fire for our advancing troops and was always in the lead. In the attack positions forward of the chalk pits Sgt Bradley had the right of the attack for his Company and was in the leading line of the attack. On nearing the enemy strong point on the right the attackers in an old C.T. over came the enemy and quickly Bradley put his Lewis gun into action shooting the retiring enemy. He at all times reported his post to his Officer which freed the remainder of the platoon to assist in the attack on the left.'
