Proceeded overseas from Wellington with 29th Reinforcements on board HMNZT No 92 'Ruahine', 15 August 1917.

Disembarked Glasgow, Scotland, 2 October 1917; marched into Sling Camp, Wiltshire, taken on strength, 4th (Reserve) Battalion, The Otago Regiment, and posted to B Company, 3 October 1917. Marched out from Sling Camp and proceeded overseas to France, 11 January 1918.

Disembarked and marched in to New Zealand Infantry and General Base Depot, Etaples, France, 13 January 1918.

Marched in to New Zealand Wing, XXII Corps Reinforcement Camp, Abeele, 29 January 1918.
