Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. At Crevecouer on 30th September 1918 and subsequent days he was in command of the Company Signal Section. He
laid the telephone line to Battalion Headquarters under shell fire and was afterwards constantly attending to its repair under considerable fire. He was most fearless in his conduct throughout.'
