Disembarked Alexandria, 15 December 1918, and admitted to No.21 General Hospital, Alexandria, the same day (malaria); discharged to duty, 28 December 1918, and marched into Mounted Rifles Training Regiment, Ismailia, the same day.

Commenced return to New Zealand on board HMT 'Kaikoura', 6 March 1919; admitted to Ship's Hospital, 30 March 1919 (malaria); discharged to duty, 1 April 1919; disembarked New Zealand, 19 April 1919; discharged (termination of period of engagement), 12 August 1919.
