Found guilty, No.3 Post, Suez Canal, of (1) being late for parade, and (2) drunkenness and creating a disturbance: lateness charge dismissed and awarded 7 days' confined to barracks and admonished on other charges. Embarked Alexandria with unit to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force (Gallipoli Campaign), 12 April 1915. Admitted to No.15 Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 1 July 1915 (diarrhoea); rejoined unit, Anzac, 8 July 1915.
