Croix de Guerre (Belgium) 'Operations: east and west of Bapaume, 25th August 1918 to 7th September 1918. R.S.M. Robertson has been Regimental Sergeant Major of this Battalion for seven
months and during that time his work has been consistently good. During the recent operations east and west of Bapaume as Regimental Sergeant Major he was in charge of Carrying and Ration parties. He worked unremittingly in his efforts (frequently under shell fire) to get forward water, rations and S.A.A. to the Forward Companies.'
