Admitted to 2nd Canadian Casualty Clearing Station, 26 November 1917 (laryngitis), and transferred to Ambulance Train No 16; admittted to 4th General Hospital, Camiers; transferred to England, 2 December 1917, and admitted to No 2 NZ General Hospital, Walton-on-Thames; transferred to No 1 NZ General Hospital, Brockenhurst, 11 March 1918; discharged on furlough, 17 May 1918, to report to Discharge Depot, Torquay, 31 May 1918.
