Admitted to No 2 NZ Field Ambulance, 2 ASpril 1917 (orchitis); discharged to Reinforcements Camp, 9 April 1917; rejoined Bn, in the field, 10 April 1917.

Killed in action, 7 June 1917.

Buried by 3rd Company, 1st Auckland Infantry Regiment; grave subsequently lost.
