Croix de Guerre (Belgium) 'Operations east and west of Bapaume, 25th August to 7th September 1918. For bravery and devotion to duty. Private Park was in charge of Battalion Runners
during the operations. He did very excellent work and set a splendid example to the runners in his charge. He carried messages himself forward frequently to
Companies, often under heavy shell and machine gun fire and worked day and night under very difficult conditions. He showed a fine example of courage and
devotion to duty.'
