Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. On the 26th August 1918 during operations near Grevillers Private Park while doing duty as a Stretcher Bearer showed conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in attending the wounded under heavy shell and machine gun fire in an open road which crossed a ridge in full view of the enemy. Later Private Park removed the wounded to a position of
shelter. His utter disregard for personal danger was a splendid example to his comrades. His devotion to duty undoubtedly saved many lives.'
