| Medals |
Military Medal 'Operations British front in the vicinity of the Foret de Mormal, 5th November 1918. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. During the above operations Private Noble displayed great bravery. On one occasion, when on the flank, he saw through the trees a party of enemy about 200 yards ahead. Running from tree to tree, he came close enough to rush the party and he succeeded in capturing an officer and several men. This encouraged the men of his platoon and disorganised the enemy to a great extent. Throughout the day he set a great example to the rest
of the men and his bravery merited their highest praise.'
