Croix de Guerre (Belgium) 'For gallantry and devotion to duty, during the operations around Bapaume. During the whole of the offensive operations from 21st August to 13th September 1918, Sergt Moulding commanded a Platoon and handled it with skill and marked ability.
Through his initiative on many occasions casualties were saved, and his courage and personal example greatly inspired his men. He has been with the Battalion in all actions and his work has been of the highest order.'
