Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty near Le Quesnoy on the 25th October 1918. Corporal Moscroft's platoon was detailed to take a level crossing. After organising the platoon for the attack his skilful and fearless leadership inspired the platoon to gain it's objective, causing many casualties to the enemy without loss to itself.'
