Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in the field on the 27th day of March 1918, north east of Mailley Mailet. Pte McCoskrie displayed most
conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. On three occasions, under an increasingly heavy machine gun and shell fire he went out and repaired communication wires which were necessary for vital communication. In carrying out this work he showed a cheerfulness, coolness, and courage worthy of the highest praise.'
