Distinguished Conduct Medal 'In the operations north of CREVECOEUR from 1st to 3rd October 1918, he did excellent and gallant work. During an enemy counter-attack he organized and led forward under heavy shell fire a party for consolidating. Later he delivered an important message under very heavy fire.'
