Found guilty, HMT 'Omrah', of while on Active Service breaking bounds, leaving ship without leave pass: awarded 2 days' No 4 ship's punishment, fined 5/-, and forfeited 2 days' gross pay. Disembarked Southampton, 25 September 1917, marched in to Camp Sling, and posted to Auckland Infantry Regiment. Admitted to No 3 NZ General Hospital (Venereal Section), Codford, 26 September 1917; discharged, 24 October 1917; taken on strength, NZ Command Depot, Codford, 31 October 1917. Admitted to No 1 NZ General Hospital, Brockenhurst, 4 December 1917; taken on strength, NZ Command Depot, Codford, 11 December 1917. Found guilty, Codford, 3 January 1918, of being absent without leave, 11.45 pm, 27 December 1917, to 8 pm, 2 January 1918: forfeited 7 days' pay, and deprived of a further 7 days' pay.
